Fields of Experience


Dr. Lowell is an independent consultant in fields associated with chemical engineering.  He has worked on projects and provided technical direction in diverse areas such as flue gas desulfurization (FGD) processes, hydrocarbon and petrochemical process analysis, modeling and control of natural gas dehydrators based on TEG and activated alumina, aqueous chemical processes, and emission control of semiconductor manufacturing operations.  He  taught chemical engineering thermodynamics and unit operation at the University of Texas at Austin.  He participated in the process design of chemical plants and refineries and was the process engineer for an ethanolamines production unit.
